OCW - July Week 1 - DC's General Glory

  

This obscure, yet blatant homage to Captain America was this week's obvious choice for OCW. Right down to having a sidekick named Ernie! I loved when this hero from Guy's Childhood made its way onto the pages of Guy Gardner's own comic and appearances in the JLI books at the time. I've never been clear on his origins and this wiki link seems to contradict what I recall. But anyway, in the Spirit of today being the Fourth of July and the up-coming Captain America movie... we are sticking with this patriotic theme. Happy Independence Day, everyone!
