Who is this Mysterious Hero In Action Comics #900?

If you have any ideas on the name of this shadowy half-dressed man please let us know.
Here's what we do know:
1) Wears an "S" emblem, could be a clue to his name
2) Dockers and a a belt, he may work in an office (Notice the yellow belt under the dockers, maybe he has belt based powers?)
3) Cape under his shirt. If no one notices the bright blue undershirt through his oxford, they should notice the red cape bunched in the back... if they do not, then we can assume he works with non-observant types... or morons.

Leave for theories on a name and an origin in the comments below!

  1. I have always assumed that the general public saw Clark has having "much back". Either that or he has a load in his shorts.

On a serious note, this is an incredibly good thing. Paul Cornell's "Lex" run on Action has been awesome. And with Action about to reach a mile stone never hit before... Its good to have a worthy writer on board to lead the way. I'm not a huge Pete Woods fan, but he's been stellar as well of late. I look forward to this, big time!

  2. Actually Four Color Comics, an old Dell Comics anthology series, had 1,354 issues so Action still has a ways to go.

I hope that isn't the standard cover though, since not only doesn't it celebrate any aspect of mythos it actually makes him look like a villain. The same goes for Earth One cover, they just give an entirely wrong impression.

Also can everyone please pick up Weird Worlds, I really want the book to do well.

  3. I think the idea is that, to Lex, he IS the villain.

(since Action has been Lex's book for the last year-ish)
