Honestly doesn't look too bad, an actual suit on close-ups would have been better though. Overall a quick and easy fix would just to be cover the suit in a glow like they did with Doctor Manhattan and his big blue penis. The one downside of the CGI suit that in sequels we will never get to see Guy's awesome costume which is honestly the best GL costume ever. It is just so violently 80's.
But to be fair I have personal stake in this since I am probably not even go to see this until it has been out on video for a while anyway. I just don't understand why we are to like Hal. Honestly his two most remembered stories are where he is called a racist and then when he murdered his friends. And honestly none of the stories since Rebirth would be that different if it focused on another Lantern, Kyle in particular. Hal should have stayed dead.
Yes, Gardner is perfectly 80's! A red headed jerk, who wears turtle necks, shoots firsts and asks questions later. Not to mention he has a soft spot for nordic women. Guy, in many ways is my favorite "CHARACTER" in comics. Who's to say Guy won't appear as a cameo, Or in a sequel? You just never know.
